Questions & Answers
Q: Where did the idea for the name and logo for Karley’s Collections come from?
A: The name and logo for my brand were the result of extensive contemplation. Initially, I operated under the name Kat’s Sketchbook Designs. However, I soon realized I needed a brand identity that truly reflected me, Karley, and the image I wanted my art to be represented under. After exploring numerous options through random name generators and different variations of words, I finally settled on Karley’s Collection. The logo, color palette, and overall aesthetic are inspired by 70s styles. The girl in the logo is based on an image of me, making it a personal and authentic representation.
Q: Where do you source your items?
A: All of my clothes and art prints are sourced locally in Iowa, while my stickers and tote bags are sourced from companies within the USA.
Q: Where are you from?
A: I, Karley, am originally from Galesburg, IL, and now reside in the Des Moines, IA area with my boyfriend and our four cats.
Q: Where do the ideas for your art come from?
A: My ideas come from a variety of different inspiration sources, including my surroundings, other artists, my family, friends, my own passions and imagination.
Q: Do you make custom designs?
A: Yes and no. If you are interested in custom art, please send me a message, and we can discuss having me create a custom design for you. This artwork would be delivered as a digital download only. I do not currently offer custom designs printed on physical products. If you want a unique design created by me printed on one of my tote bags or other items, I will take your idea into consideration, but currently, I do not provide this service. I am sorry.
Q: How is the art printed onto the tote bags and clothes?
A: The designs are printed directly onto the items using a direct-to-garment printing process.
